Ottawa, Ontario Styled Elopement
Today I did absolutely nothing except eat pancakes, watch Full House and work on this blog post. It was wonderful. Yesterday I went to the Toronto Christmas Market with my sister and some good friends. I highly recommend. It was magical and I'm now 100% in the Christmas spirit.
On an other note.. let's talk about this dark & moody styled elopement.
ENDLESS THANKS TO EVERYONE (amazing friends & vendors) WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN. I can’t brag enough about everyone!! It’s crazy what can happen when you just ask! I wanted to do a styled shoot that reflected my style and allowed the people involved to be creative in their chosen area. Something that was non-traditional. And involved skulls and black nail polish. Mission accomplished.
You probably can’t tell but it was freezing cold and started raining towards the end of the shoot. Oh and Kayla was sick. Thankfully everything came together. We celebrated after by eating the cake on the hood of Brandon’s car by the side of the road. That was actually the best part if you ask me.
This location is a reminder to me that my country is so beautiful and I don't actually have to go that far to figure that out. This shoot is evidence that Ottawa is packed will freaking talented people. The world needs to know.
I'd like to do a lot more styled shoots like this in the future. Stay tuned for details on upcoming styled shoots and how you can take part. I'd love to get a good idea of who would be interested in anyway, modelling, a creative service or participating as a photographer. Lemme know.
